Rooted in Atlanta’s rich and complex relationship to sex, labor, art, and expression, we curate experiences that invite people to see, feel, and understand sexuality as a powerful force shaping our world.
We exist at the intersection of art, education, and liberation, creating space to honor the role of sex, sex work, and sensual expression in shaping Atlanta’s economy, creativity, and collective identity. What has often been hidden, stigmatized, or misunderstood, we bring into full view with care, depth, and intention.
Through curated exhibitions, immersive events, and community-centered programming, we explore sexuality as more than an act. We understand it as:
a spiritual experience
a physical language
a psychological landscape
and a cultural force
Our work challenges the narratives that have disconnected people from their bodies, their agency, and their right to informed, expansive pleasure. We are in direct conversation with the harms of purity culture and the systemic absence of comprehensive sex education creating space for truth, healing, and reclamation.
At the Atlanta Sex Museum, art becomes a teacher. Expression becomes curriculum. And curiosity becomes a pathway to deeper self-understanding.
We curate experiences that are elegant, intentional, and holistic holding both the beauty and complexity of sexuality with respect and honesty. This is a space where culture is honored, where stories are preserved, and where new possibilities for understanding ourselves and one another can emerge.
Atlanta Sex Museum is a living, evolving space dedicated to sexual liberation, cultural memory, and embodied knowledge.
